The Screenplay

An original story by Rah Crawford

Set in early Africa, with its breathtaking landscapes, exotic wildlife, and magical splendor. Two tribes locked in a generational feud fight for revenge and survival as their land and resources diminish.

A tragic incident brings Dondai (DON•DAY) and Ayeelah (AH•YEE•LA), two children from opposing tribes together and intertwines their fates. Over the years, they cultivate a secret relationship that blossoms as they mature into young adulthood. With tensions between their tribes worsening overtime, Dondai and Ayeelah commit their love for one another into action as they defy their ancestors, expose a traitor, and become swept away on an adventure that alters the land and the lives of their people forever.

MAIN CHARACTERS

Ayeelah (Ah•yee•la)

Deliberate, passionate and rebellious, Ayeelah is the last of her father’s children, the only heir of her royal bloodline. She is often conflicted by her strong sense of indepedence and her familial ties to tradition. An adventurer at heart, Ayeelah never accepts things as they are, but instead relies on self determination and her natural instincts to guide her.

Dondai (Don•day)

Contemplative, artistic and compassionate, Dondai is the last living heir of his father’s bloodline. An introvert, Dondai communicates best with the world through his creative expressions of music and art. He is often misunderstood amongst his more physically dominant peers because of his nonconforming ways.
